How it works!

If you have a computer, web access and a camera, you can take this course online!!!  Under "Materials Necessary", you will see the list of other materials needed for this class and a link and item list for quick ordering.  Each week, you will photograph your work and email it for review.  Then, you will receive comments and the code to go onto the next lesson.

You should have between 6-10 hours of work/week (depending upon your creative style).  "This class is like piano lessons:  you will get out of it what you put into it.  Your work will show".  You should finish each week's work before going on, even if it takes you two weeks.  The exercises are all important and provide the tools needed for your final project.  The first six weeks can be taken at your own pace.

The final project is a 3-week project with a deadline (based on when you receive your 6th week review).  When you receive that review, you will have 3 weeks to finish your project.  This is especially for those of you who may be considering architecture for your future.  In Architecture, especially, but in many fields, there are deadlines.  This introductory course aims at helping you learn to work with a deadline.   Your professors, typically, will not be interested in excuses.  They will just want to see what you have done on the day it is due.  This course will give you the opportunity to test your time management in a safe environment.  It is suggested you aim to turn your final project in a day or two early.

Reviews will be returned 24-72 hours after receiving your work.
