The topics for both the High School and the Elementary Biblical Art Course are the same. The projects and expectations are different.
Objectives:
A. To Encourage Creative Responses to Bible Passages.
B. To Encourage Deeper thinking about Biblical Passages.
C. To Experiment with a variety of Artistic Expressions.
Lesson 1: Creation - Clay
Lesson 2: Old Testament Joseph - Fabric
Lesson 3: Psalms 23 (Path) - Wood, nails and string, or foam core toothpicks and string.
Lesson 4: Nativity - Etching tools
Lesson 5: Beatitudes - Water colors, Black Ink
Lesson 6: Crucifixion/Ressurection - Misc.
Lesson 7: Lord's Prayer - Pen and Ink
Lesson 8: Holy Spirit - Paper or Ceramic mosaics, Tin Can, nails, candle, misc.
Lesson 9: Light/Discipleship - Computer
